Amy's game today.

Noel says we are nearly almost at the amazing milestone of the 2000th game, which is 3 shows away. He talks about how people still come up to him and say the show must be rigged as there has been some amazing coincidences over the years, but Noel says that this is the most open show around.

Amy has box 17 today.

Amy is from Harrogate. She says that she worries a lot, and sometimes even worries that she is worrying so much! Amy has a mild version of cystic fibrosis, and talks about the symptoms she has to deal with. We get to see a photo of Amy with her daughter, mum and gran.

Here we go...

The Banker says he has been watching Amy very carefully and she has had a very difficult position on the wings next to Doogie, as there could have been a slight issue with wind! Doogie admits there might have been a small problem

Banker's offer:

+ Air freshener

Noel is being a little disingenuous there (in my opinion). Why can't we see the contestants randomly selecting their box once they have been chosen to play? After all that's exactly what they do in the celebrity versions of the show. Choosing the contestants after they have selected their box
allows the producers the degree of control they need not to bankrupt Channel 4.

And who's to say its not the all-knowing independent ajudicator who is given the task of choosing the order of play?

The Banker says that Noel needs to keep an eye on Jayden as he is always the first into makeup, and even has his own little bag he takes in.

Banker's offer:

£12,000

Actually, the player is told before the show that it is their game, and they get first pick of the boxes.

This was started at the start of this year, possibly to eliminate theories like that, which were floating around a lot at the end of last year.

Amy says she likes to think she can kind of read the board a little, not the odds or anything, but does think there is at least one more round in the game. Amy asks if anyone knows what the Banker's middle name is, as everyone calls him Mr Banker. The Banker calls and says it is Danger, but Amy can call him anything she wants.

Amy says

NO DEAL

(With respect) I find that very difficult to believe, in a previous series there was a run of something like 20 games where the contestant took a blue to the table. Just try tossing a coin in the air and see how long it takes to get 20 consecutive heads or tails. I repeat, if that element of the show is not being controlled then why not let us see it on screen to eliminate any of these conspiracy theories? Alternatively each contestant could be offered the swap right at the start of the show.

Looks like another cautious player.

Worth another round though, as got more chance of an all blue round.
