No matter what happens, that was a sensible decision for the board and cannot be faulted.

Noel doesn't rub it in, interestingly. He does refer to the atmosphere as "weird".

Box 20 (Mark) - 10p

Box 9 (Milli) - £750

Noel talks about the "most uncomfortable" situation that the Banker potentially lied.

Box 19 (Liz) - £250,000 :D

Banker time with £10 and £75,000 remaining.

Banker's offer would've been:

£26,000

Stop hoping for the Banker's Gamble when no-one is foolish enough to take it.

Noel again points out that the Banker may or may not have been lying.

Box 12 with Agnes contained £75,000

THIRD player in a row who BLEW the chances of getting one of the power five... if she was in live play at two box, I'd reckon the £26,000 would have worked...

The players so far this week are just NOT brave enough to just try their luck and go for it.........

If the Banker gets to look inside the box tomorrow, hopefully they will be more braver......

This show is getting more and more predictable to be honest...

But, to be fair, Tony and Agnes would've both had to take very ricky and statistically unwise gambles to win the big money.

Noel says the offer reduction was "arrogance". The Banker phones up to laugh down the phone as if to prove a point. Inevitably, this was greeted by boos.

Margy-Rose opens box 22 to reveal £10.

"What a game," Noel remarks. "This game had not turned out the way I imagined it would," talking about how she played the game for her family "under the most difficult of circumstances". She's asked if she's satisfied (yes), and if she has enjoyed her experience (yes).

Noel points out the three Power 5 boxes that have come to the table this week, and wonders if tomorrow will produce a £250k win!

None of the players truly blew the chances because none of them had the board in their favour. They were all sensible deals and it just happened that they had big money in their boxes but they may have had a tiny amount. Going to the end in each of these games meant taking at least one reckless risk and you cannot blame them for being sensible.

That was unfortunate though. If that doesn't deter people from going to 5-box for the rest of the week, I'll be surprised.

And thank you to Mark and KP for providing the commentary today. :smt023

OK, maybe not. :)

Is this the first time somebody has dealt after the banker has reduced his original offer?

These stupid mind games are seriously eroding the show's credibility. Having the Banker look in the contestant's box reeks of a budget-saving measure, not to mention that the catapult thing seems to be rigged, and should be retired. I smell a serious rat here, as these practices seem highly deceptive, and possibly illegal.

Also, it seems that Classic Mark has reared his head. Time to shut up now, buddy.

Shame the Bankers Gamble wasn't offered again today as she may just may have taken it.

I think it's time the catapult was ditched now. That stupid thing has ruined the last 3 games!

Also, why would you deal a LOWER OFFER after requesting more?!

When was the last time the power five amounts came to the table three times in a row?
