Blue chants start!

Box 6 (the twins) - £100

Noel talks up the 8-box board if there's an all-blue round. More chants!

Box 13 (Neil) - £10,000

Noel concedes that at least it was the lowest of the reds, but insists it is "absolutely vital" to find a blue now.

Box 11 (Craig) - £250

Banker time...

Clearly she is going to be in live play at five box... and by the timing, it could finally go the players way for the first time this week...

The Banker says Agnes' excitable movements remind him of when he made his Sunday roast and the chicken he was cooking jumped out of the foil and ran around the room screaming!

Banker's offer:

£13,000

That's not too bad, but not quite enough for a deal (to avoid the twist, or not).

Agnes talks about wanting "the big money" for her family as well as herself. Noel points out that taking out the top three would mean £13,000 would be the top of the game, then talks through the possibilities of the catapult (making sure to get the plug for Icelolly.com in there!).

Agnes says NO DEAL

Noel calls a break, and the ticker at the bottom is missing an apostrophe in "Don't"!!

I have a theory why the DOND producers love a themed week, however tenuous/weak the reason for
having it may be.

When they're recording 3-4 shows a day with Noel pretending to us, the viewers that we're seeing each show on the day in question (these 'Olympic' shows were probably filmed in March/April) it requires the
same number of costume changes for Noel and the contestants. But if you put them all in fancy dress
you can get away with recording the shows pretty much one after another without 23 people (or 24 when
you have twins appearing!) all needing to spend time in the wardrobe and make-up departments.

Well it seems plausible to me at least! :?

Oh I so hope it's not third time lucky for the Banker...

though if it is, I can clearly see him saying he has seen the £250,000...

We're back, with Noel talking about the catapult again.

He now points out that every blue is worth thousands of pounds in this configuration.

Box 17 (Hayley) - £35,000

"You have just arrived at the knife edge," says Noel.

Box 10 (Phil) - £1

Box 3 (Nonio) - 50p

Catapult time...

Damn.... :( :( :(

I reckon after the Banker has been not telling the truth for the past two games, he probably will be telling the truth this time.

Noel confirms the catapult rules after a phone call with the Banker. He points out nobody's succeeded with any shots yet.

Agnes misses badly high and left with shot 1.
Agnes misses badly high and a little left with shot 2.
Agnes misses with shot 3 - it almost bounced in but it wouldn't have counted even if it did.
Agnes narrowly misses the bronze target to the left with shot 4.
Agnes misses the silver target narrowly to the right with shot 5.

The Banker looks in the box thanks to the living statue...

Noel points out that the Banker lied in the previous two occasions, but may not do so this time. He also points out how the big money has come along in those games.

The black seal is on box 12 now. The Banker insists he's not lying this time... he says there's a blue on the table.

Banker's offer:

£22,000

I have a strong feeling he is telling the truth... but not really sure...

Hopefully though, she is going to be brave and try her luck.

Did I hear someone shout 'rubbish!' when the Banker said he was telling the truth?

£22,000 is decent for the board, and I'd likely deal seeing as the Banker has the advantage now.

Stop hoping that people will continue when the board is clearly not in their favour.

"Is he telling the truth this time?", Agnes asks. The Banker phones back to say yes! Noel mentions the possibility of the Banker telling another lie and £250k or £75k being on the table.

Agnes gets advice from her family, leaning non-commitally towards Deal. Agnes talks to Andy, and mentions that £250k might be in box 12. The Banker phones up again to insist £250k is not there. Agnes asks for a slightly higher offer, and the Banker phones up instantly...

...to say no. "I've seen a blue in the box. This is not a charity."

Banker's offer:

£21,000

After another request from Agnes, it gets worse...

Banker's offer:

£20,000

Which Liz insists is still a huge amount of money.
