Woo! I wanted her to go on, but if she had, it would have been just as dreadful as those other games! (Although I would have had my 50p winner.) Well done Chrissie - probably the most bizarre amount anyone's ever won!

And Wayne...grrr...

The banker was beaten there by a happy blend of courage and good sense!

Not really - think about it. 3 gets picked the most. So if Endemol dont want to give away £20,000+ grand, they will put the big money in 3 hoping someone will choose it. They choose it, £10,000, no rollover, Endemol dont have to potentially dish £20,000+ out.

But what's the difference between giving out 10k in two shows or 20k in one? The total's the same ;)

Its more worrying for Endemol giving out up to £100,000.

Again, it's the same. Just instead of giving out 10k to 10 individual people, they'll be giving 100k out to one person.

But they dont want to have to run the risk of losing a big clump of money, but rather small clumps which they can get back from phone calls quicker.

They'd still be losing 100k in a week. I still don't see any great difference that'd cause Endemol to fix the boxes. Besides, with that much money up for grabs on one show, surely the phone entries for that show alone would pay for the prize. More people would ring up for the 100k prize than they would for the 10k prize.
