Paul's game today.

Noel announces that the £8,000 barrier has been broken, after Stef won £13,000 and got a Banker Spanking!

Paul has Box 4.

Paul Pocock is an accounts student from Washington, Tyne & Wear. He tells of how he went down with meningitis in his youth and was told he'd have to have his legs amputated; he ended up having both his legs amputated below the knee, along with a bit of his fingers. Noel says he will have inspired many with his story.

He has a picture of his son and step-daughter, and would like to do something for them; he has his partner in the audience. He also has a replica box with him, which he'd like Noel to open later.

Here we go...

Very good second offer.

When was the last time the offer was that high or near enough?

You've given him hope, says Noel. The Banker says that was not enough relief.
