Baz goes to his wife for some advice, and then goes to the wings. Darren says that there is another round in the game. Baz says that he could do so much for his kids with £20,000. Baz gets lots more advice from the wings. Baz's wife tells him to play the game as if he was sat at home, and Baz says he would be playing on. The Banker says that the difference being sat at home is you can be brave, and how much money has been won by people playing at home.

Baz says

DEAL

I think Mark might have just spontaneously combusted.

Oh dear... we have another third round deal

I can see why he dealt as a big gap but the top three in play... very worth another round.

Second player in a row who couldn't care less about the five box twist...

I usually flip out at third offer deals but £20k was a VERY generous offer for the board with just 5 reds left!

Not really surprising, given that they were using up a lot of time with chat there. ;)

I personally don't see anything wrong with dealing the third offer, even during a themed week. Besides, we've had many games recently where the third offer has been the highest. Lawrence springs to mind. I'm sure there are others.

Yes, I've sort of combusted too... :? ;)

HOW can you deal with the top 3 all still there - and plenty of blues to hit?!?!?  :?

No matter how much £20k meant to you... :? :?

AND at the third offer, too! :?

I hate to say this - but this deal could very well be up there with the likes of Richard's and Wilf's unless he has an unbelievably good proveout... :?

Mark

See not knowing about some games is sometimes a good thing. You wouldn't have wanted to know about a 3rd offer deal, would you?

:D :D :D

But with three of those five reds being the biggest three, surely you wouldn't have dealt...? ;)

I wouldn't be too surprised if the producers' reaction to this deal was along the lines of "Not f***ing again!!!"  ;)

Banker's offer would've been:

£500

When was the last time there was an OPW/banker-spanking from a 3rd offer deal?
