I think you're confusing Bravery with Greed

Rubbish. She never got a massive offer, nor anything that would have changed her life, as she said. I'm sick of people accusing people of "greed" - Nessie spent a lot of time thinking about each offer, and obviously decided the risk was worth it. Which, incidentally, is exactly what I would have done.

On a brighter note, how the hell can you end up in Bristol when your destination is Heath Row Airport?!

Yeah, I liked that story. Then again, goodness knows where I'd end up if I tried to get to Heathrow.

I think you're the confused one....

Nessie's husband mentioned that they had a goal/target in mind and at the time the offers and board showed more potential, so carried on playing. Does this mean that anyone who has a goal in anything is considered greedy?!?!

Nessie came across as a lovely person and had shown during her introduction that she was used to calculated risks in life with leaving her job and setting up her own business.

It's all too easy to sit there and throw comments of greed around because something doesn't work out well for a player, I expect there would have been a comment of weak willed or something if Nessie had dealt early and it was found she had a large amount in her box.

True, and people wouldnt be saying she was greedy if she got the better outcome.

Once again, I would have dealt for £13K

It IS always the best ones who get the lowest amount of money, but some of them do push their luck a bit too much, I think. I wonder how much has been paid out in prize money so far??? I reckon they are STILL quids in, cos they've not paid out a great deal, taking into account the number of shows so far, and the money they get from viewers calls.

They would have had a bigger payout recently with Richard and the £75,000 in his box. No one would say he was greedy if he went to the end and won that would he?

I make it £3,234,927.24. (That's just to the contestants, not the viewers.)

I agree with you Kestral, it takes courage to reject an offer from the banker for a better one, and there can be many good reasons for wanting money such as giving it to your family, or helping deprived people, so just wanting more money is not being greedy!
