Jacky's daughter comes down to the pound table. She tells Jacky that she must do what she wants to do, and Jacky talks about helping out her family. Chris says she could easily take out 3 large reds but could also take out 3 small blues and she has to think what the money would do for her.

Jacky says

DEAL

Not too sure about that deal. Was at least another round in it.

Would have been better to have gone at 11-box if she wanted to take that, in my opinion. Another one who believes the game starts at eight-box.

I agree. It's a gamblers board but 7500 is a lot of cash to an oap and she's witnessed some horrible crashes from her time on the wings. But I have a feeling she might take a Bg if it came to it

The banker says he can hear funeral bells tolling.

Banker's offer would've been:

£4,500

Box 3 with Alphonso contains the £500

Noel says we're going to remember this game for a long, long time.

Now, that was a good game. A cautious deal, but it turned out right. Well done to Jacky for a respectable game!

That's about as close as we've come to a 3rd deal OPW for a long time. I reckon she was on the brink of dealing that £10k. It'd have been tremendous to see another OPW so early in the game.

Great game it was too. Jacky's dark sense of humour was brilliant.

Could and should have been a third-offer OPW, but it's still one heck of an escape from a game where most would have won a blue. And Mark suddenly doesn't post. :D

Maybe his internet went down, I'm sure he wouldn't have ducked out just to avoid eating his words ;)

Some brilliantly dark humour laced through that game, loved the nonchalant way Jacky dropped into the conversation that her husband had walked out on her :laughing

A sensible deal that perhaps came one round too late but more importantly managed to dodge a complete disaster

The kind of show that shows that sometimes the boxes and the game become secondary to the contestant. A 10 minute intro to the game signposted we were probably going to get an 11 or 8-box deal (or a terrible crash).

Would have been heartbreaking for Jacky to have been the 3rd blue winner in a row so quite glad she dealt on an 8-box that probably didn't have a great deal of upside to going on.
