Andy's game today.

Noel says it will be a great game today, as in their own way every game is great. He refers back to Em's game yesterday, and talks about the Banker calling, and how Noel conveys the words of the Banker, but also tries to convey the mood of the Banker, and advises the players to listen to some of the advice the Banker offers when he gives odds and the state of the board.

Had the £75k yesterday. Hopefully a much better game today.

Andy has box 11 today.

Andy is studying civil engineering, and explains how he got interested into it, and talks about what he will be doing after his studies, and he hopes to advance a career in the field. We get to see a family picture, Andy has his mum and friend in the audience for support today. Andy shows another picture of him in the territorial army, and explain a little about it, and how he would love to be a pilot, and would love to fly helicopters, which excites Noel.

After yesterday's game in which he quoted a 37.5% chance as 40%, this just made me laugh.

A civil engineering student really ought to be able to do mathematics rather more complicated than that, and I'd like to see him challenging the Banker from that angle...

We'd hope so but that power5 in the previous game is an omen if ever there was one. Still, wish him good luck! Just a hunch but I'd say offer in the £20k region would be enough for him to deal.

Also that lecture about listening to the banker was a bit rich coming from Noel who often squeals about the player having more courage towards the end of the game and going against the odds.

Anyway, as for today's game, and the only thing going for Andy in that round was hitting more blues than reds. That's literally where the good news ends.

What a shame says Noel. The Banker says he loved Andrew's joke, and he had a lovely evening last night celebrating number 37, and number 38 is here today. The Banker is going to honour Andy's joke of the day with a joke before each offer.

Well given the loss of the £250k I suppose that couldn't be classed as a 'joke offer'. Lets see if his luck holds up - I like his po-faced reaction. Least hes not playing this too OTT and not screaming around the place. He should have thought have a few banker jokes though.

The Banker calls and says he is a nice guy and tries to cheer Andy up by speaking to him, he then tells Andy another joke.

Jade gives us a joke, but receives deathly silence for it. The Banker calls and says that joke was so bad there was tumbleweed in the studio! He then tells Jade that if she can't make the pilgrims laugh with another joke then Andy's next offer will be 1p! Luckily Jade's next joke gets a laugh.

I was just thinking the same. This offer shouldn't get anywhere north of 5k, but I'm wondering if they may just push that barrier to try and perk him up a bit. Noel should remind him of Victorias extraordinary hypo comeback with a very poorly played game but with the 100k in her box.
