Might as well go for it. Not a big difference in either amount won.

Noel says this is an amazing moment, and he runs through the ambitions of Seema and her husband. Seema reckons the viewers at home would tell her to "go girl".

Seema says

NO DEAL

I agree and whatever decision she makes you can't say she should have been any braver in this game.

Noel says everyone is waiting to find out whether Seema did the right thing.

Seema wins £20,000 from her box 3. :D

Interesting that she seemed to internalise the assumption of the public wanting her to gamble. Very glad that happened on a finish like this, not one like the last game!

All the other contestants rush out to congratulate Seema.

Noel rushes over to open Cindi's box 22! It contains £10,000 to complete the game.

I loved it at the end when Noel rushed over to open the remaining box on the wings!

Now that's a great ending! Good on Seema for rescuing her game, and getting a good Spanking!

Also, is it me, or have the pitch invasions been getting a bit too frequent lately?

CORRECT. CONTESTANTS NEED TO BE REMINDED THAT THE STUDIO IS NOT A "FOOTBALL PITCH"

Low-win pitch invasions really do irritate me. OK, £20,000 isn't exactly a low win, but pitch invasions should definitely be saved for a top 2 win in my opinion. Loved how Noel opened Cindi's box for her though. :-D

Good game result wise. She made brave yet by no means reckless decisions, and it paid off. A nice OPW this fine wednesday afternoon.

Delighted for Seema that she won £20k but she did seem very uncomfortable with those 8-box and 5-box no-deals - it was as if she was putting pressure on herself to turn them down.

It's rather dull where I am too. It's fine in the sense that I'm just in a good mood. :-D

Aww, Seema was a lovely lady, so glad she got a good sum of money out of it for a worthy cause, I felt so sorry for her yesterday not just because she was so upset about opening the quarter million but because if she had played when she was the longest serving player, we may have had our 4th quarter millionaire.

A couple of brave decision at 8-box and 5-box but on stable boards entitled her to have a finish where I won't criticise the player for making either decision.

A very surprising and most welcome spanking for the Banker there. Personally i thought any of the last three offeres were dealable and I fully expected Seema to take each of them as they came up. Not that there was any recklessness in going on but she just didn't seem the type to push her luck

That final gamble wasn't quite on a par with Sam's £100k spanking a few weeks ago but Seema does join a select group of Banker Spankers - several young women with names begining with S have gotten out at the peak of their game in the last few months, either by dealing or not dealing. I'm thinking Sam, Shannon, Staci, Sophie and of course Suzanne.

Another exciting game with a fun character to conclude my week of pilgrim non-appearances, a much-needed happy ending after yesterday's game. I didn't think she would go on at 5-box, it was pretty much a coin-flip as to whether it would pay off. Classic see-saw game and very enjoyable to watch in the company of contestant Andy's mum.

Afterwards, I got a chance to shake Seema's hand, and say "well played, great game!", and a lot of pilgrims felt compelled to do the same, as she had engaged us so much with her story, and her bravery didn't amount to stupidity for me.

It was indeed comforting KP to have a fairly stable finish this time, but the offer left me in a bit of a quandary over what I would have done; on the one hand, I'd usually never dream of turning down the average, but on the other the last offer was guaranteed, and utility-wise the drop doesn't seem too damaging. I think Seema was correct in her assessment that it's a finish that screams "go for it!" for the viewer.

Anyway, back to 'fresh' shows for me now, seems like it's been ages! :D
