Well at least John won't be now chasing the big offers he should have got for the last 2 offers.

We'll definitely get him dragged on now.

That has completely changed the shape of the game says Noel. The Banker says that is a very different board now, and John's future hangs on one box now.

Banker's offer:

£8,000

That is virtually where you started says Noel. The Banker calls and says that this is a tough decision now, and one of the hardest things to do on the show is to take their lowest offer, and quite a few people have gone on to win a blue after being too proud to take their lowest offer.

John says

NO DEAL

£8,000?! :smt019
FD is over £13k so that offer is pants.

Pennies short of £14k in fact.

Wonder if the production team are looking for a feel-good win to counteract Ted's game on Friday - Banker hasn't made any effort to buy the box - even if he has John down as a cautious player.

I'd be wanting Old Faithful as a minimum here.

The Banker says with the board John had it was against the odds for him to hit 2 blues.

Banker's offer:

£26,000

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

With one blue and four reds at five box, worth going on. Just got to find them two low reds.

I did think it would be the old faithful, of which hopefully won't work this time.

But knowing him, it probably will.

Well there's a sudden surge in generosity! I'd definitely be dealing old faithful here.

So it's 40% chance of a massive offer vs 30% of the offer halving at best vs 30% of a crash.

I'm sure he's dealing this and I think I would too.

John says that is a lot of, lot of money. John says that is 3 years worth of state pension.

John says

DEAL

Round 6 - Proveout round

4 - £35,000 Charlotte

15 - £5 Gary

Oh my word says Noel, it is all on this box now. The Banker calls and says that he would have called here and said depending on the next box the final offer would have been £2,000 or £62,000

12 - £3,000 Macka

Banker time with £1,000 and £250,000 remaining

£62k on a £250k/orange finish - the banker isn't going for the immediate guilt trip then.

OH DEAR... OH DEAR... OH DEAR...

The old faithful has worked YET again!

Should been been brave for one more round and at long last... we probably would have had our first male £250k winner!

He had his chance, but blew it BIG BIG BIG time!

At this rate, will we NEVER get a male £250k winner !

Job done for him - the generosity leap ultimately made sure he didn't chase it to two-box, and a happy ending it is. I'd have chased that myself with £35k and two oranges in tow.
