Anthony says he wasn't expecting that much. Andre says it's a lot of money, and not far off what he turned down at the last offer. Anthony and his brother discuss whether they should "do it" or not. Noel asks who wants them to deal, and almost everyone in the audience stands up.

Well, that worked.

But if that had gone wrong... turning down £9,250 and £7,000 at a time where government support for them is set to be badly damaged for the sake of a few tabloid headlines... I think that was the wrong decision for them. I am in a much more secure position and would have gone at those. Thank goodness they have no regrets.

That would have been gutting if it had gone wrong. I think contestants with health issues such as Anthony's perhaps are braver as they are facing things every day?

Well, this was quite a surprise, with his twin-brother present I immediately thought we were on a to a cautious deal, but Anthony proved me wrong!

I knew as soon as the £20k was revealed that you would be cynical about this game

Not entirely sure I can blame you. When was the last time this type of player had a blue on the table? I can't name even one.

I think that may be my favourite game of the month.

As a fellow scouser, I've always liked Anthony. And he was charismatic, charming and hilarious to go with it. He played a brilliant game, and the result is a fantastic one for someone who is clearly loved by everyone there and for whom the money spent so much. Smashing game!
