£55,000 squandered. One of the easiest 75K wins blown.

Yes and 1p was fantastic back-up at the end to take on the BG wasn't it?

Let's all think of easier 75k wins! :)

That gamble was barely short of Lynne's and she stunned everyone with that. Heck it was less favourable pot odds than Betty for 100k!!!

Ellen of December 2008 had an easier £75k win. She had a paltry offer of £5k on the same 2-box.

Or Cheryl. A lot of people weren't happy about how she won 75k. Strange that no-one picks on 75k Justin though (well, almost no-one); he did almost the exact same thing as her!

Justin had taken the BG having dealt £18,500 though. Cheryl had only dealt £7k! It felt like the offers were right for Justin's final pair, whereas Cheryl's felt like they were trying to force a big win.

True, but remember, Bel did the exact same thing in January and won 1p. That could easily of happened to Cheryl, or Justin (only he had 10p). So, the big money wasn't guaranteed.

Anyone picking on £75k Justin will feel my wrath. 2nd game I saw live and it certainly wasn't an easy £75k win.

I'm not saying his win was easy. If anything, winning money via the Banker's Gamble is harder IMO, as you have to give up money you already have and risk loosing more or less all of it. Wish some people would consider that.

The "endowment effect", I believe.
