G with box 17 contains the £1

Daryll says that win has ticked every box for him.

At least that renders the proveout offer irrelevant for scoring purposes.

Good game for both sides I think.

Oops! To be fair, that was a great offer considering how pathetic the first two were, so I don't blame him for dealing.

Also, who thinks the Banker's Gamble is gone for good?

Now that I think about it, it's been a while seen I've seen a Bankers Gamble.

Great game despite the result. Daryll was a great contestant, and the humourous "insults" were brilliant. Don't blame him for the deal - I reckon most people would have gone at £33,000 anyway to make the OPW very difficult to attain.

It was only offered a few weeks ago, wasn't it? Or am I getting muddled up with another twist? :ponder:

Very true. Not that it'll stop certain people from claiming they'd have conveniently gambled. Sigh.

Not sure whether Daryll had yesterday's crash on his mind when he dealt but it wasn't a bad offer, and the proveout could have been much worse.

And I doubt the BG is gone for good - where we've had a number of sizeable wins and players taking risks during their games recently, perhaps the producers thought it hasn't been necessary.

I'm not sure the producers are that good to know how much time would be left in the edit if they offered the BG - even with humerous banter like today, the editors would probably find time to get the BG into the show.

Probably a case today of yesterday's game making the player cautious. Certainly not a bad deal and there were cases for dealing the last 3 offers today.

I can only recall Tom Jones getting the BG this year. It is SO 2009 anyway! :)

Really wasn't expecting Daryll today, thought he'd there till next week!

I really liked Daryll, think he offered good support and advice from the wings. The 8 box offer was justifiable either way IMO and the final offer definately worth taking. shame he turned out to have a six figure summ in his box sure, but without backup it would have been reckless to go for it.

The insults in the latter half of the game were great fun, some of the contestants really threw themselves into it didn't they, and Daryll & Em's 1p kiss was one of the funniest i've seen in a long time

I was out the whole day, so I never saw this game. Talk about cut and run and then getting a sneaky loss at the end
