The Banker wants 3 minutes to think about this offer, so it comes after the break....

We all know the drill. Nobody will go before 11-box. Why not play the first two offers up for giggles?

The Governor / Ol' Faithful (£26k) would probably be a deal for me here.

Oh and 3 minutes? Yeah right. I've seen breaks last for a minimum of FOUR minutes. :P

Tuned in a little late. Its 16:41 and we are on the final break  What is going on with the timing today? We have usually finished the last commercials 5 minutes ago :?

I just managed to see he has the big two in play so we could still see a dream finish. The clock suggests we won't get that far with way too much time needed for deliberations to get to a finale. Only 13 mins till the credits roll :ponder: What is going on with the editing?!

can't wait to replay the full show on 40D. There must have been a lot of chat early on?

We're back

The Banker says he found this offer difficult as Daryll is a very rational man, and he needs to be precise here. He knows he won't get Daryll cheap, but he is going to try and buy him now.

Banker's offer:

£24,000

I'm thinking mid-twenties here. Board is very strong, but deceptively dangerous. Set up for a Deal. Clock says it too.

Mid-twenties it is. I probably go on here, under half the mean in a three-box game, but a Deal is entirely valid.

Good offer, but with the top two and the £50k still there, worth another round.

Daryll says that it is a good offer, but he thinks he is in a good position here, and he needs to go with his gut instinct. Macka talks about the conversation they had earlier, and tells him to take a step back and look at the board.

Daryll says

DEAL

He needed to hit either £250k or both backups in one round and whatever was left in the other to secure an OPW (though leaving £50k at the end with anything other than £10k in the box does the trick too).

Halfway there... But no more, and that's one of the worst proveout lies of the season, denying the chance of a fair OPW. BG would have been on, as Mark said, but the early-game frolics used up airtime...
