The banker says it could've been much more painful than this.

Banker's offer would've been:

£15,000

Should have been brave for one more round and it would have paid off BIG time.

Box 19 with G contains the £5,000

Noel reveals that Tony wrote a target of £20,000 in the book.

The banker rings and asks what the money will do for Tony, and he says he can have the holiday and help his sister. He wonders if Tony wants the chance to win £20,000.

Noel gets 2 small green boxes out of the table. In one box, it says WIN and in one it says LOSE. If Tony says DEAL here, he'll pick a box. If it's WIN, Tony wins £20,000. If it's LOSE, he wins £4,000.

Banker's offer:

BANKER'S SPECIAL GAMBLE

Charlie says this would be one hell of a risk.

Tony says

NO DEAL

He keeps the £11,500.

Oh here we go. Deal or No Deal wants to spite me, as if being on an overcrowded train in stifling heat was not bad enough.

Exactly the same like last time.

More of a reason to go for it this time.

The banker rings back and Noel gets 2 blue boxes out. Tony can now chose one box from both sets of boxes. If either one of them says WIN, Tony wins £20,000........ BUT....... if Tony finds LOSE twice, Tony wins NOTHING.

Banker's offer:

BANKER'S SPECIAL GAMBLE 2

If he took that on after the Deal he made, frankly he'd have displayed irrational inconsistency...

The variant was worth a pop, though. Will it go to three a-beeping-gain?

Here's hoping this time the answer will be different.

A much better chance now of getting the win.

Tony dances around on the walk of wealth.

The banker rings back and gets 2 MORE boxes out of the table which are orange. Tony now has 3 shots. If he finds ONE win, he wins £20,000. If he finds 3 LOSEs, he wins NOTHING.

Banker's offer:

BANKER'S SPECIAL GAMBLE 3

The banker rings back and tells Tony to enjoy the money.

That's the end of the show...

This, folks, is why I complain about this show. Endemol have got hooked on big endings and they will stop at nothing to distort the game to produce them. No better than Syco in that respect, and they should be treated accordingly.

By the way, I assume the show did finish and there weren't any extra gambles after the credits.

Well, right up until that last bit, that was an enjoyable game. I was actually expecting the Banker's Gamble when he dealt 11.5k with 10 minutes left. At least they didn't guilt trip him by finding out if he'd of picked the right box(es) or not! ;)
