Noel says the SWAP question is often the most difficult if you believe in fate and destiny and also have a lucky number on the wings.

Becks says

NO SWAP

At least she had the higher amount to soften the blow of the nightmare round earlier.

Box 2 with Iain contains the £100

Noel says the ordeal is over! Becks says £5,000 will do so much for her.

Indeed. We are going to be on this 'chase to the end' for a while yet while they try for the odds that Suzanne enjoyed. Ron arguably risked it all and got lucky. £17k must have been a lot of cash to turn down in hindsight, but she salvaged something out of it. Didn't anyone tell her the boxes were made of cardboard? :smt077

As a member of the Blue Haired Contingent, I'm glad she went away with a decent amount of cash.

Another nasty crash. At least she got a decent enough sum out of the box.

Also, did Noel say she was offered the swap twice? We only saw her get offered it once?

So Becks has a phobia of cardboard? Errmmm... does she not realise she was standing by a CARDBOARD box for the last 20 or 30 games? She was also sitting right next to one too. Yeah... WTF? :ponder:

As I said before, the 8-box decision wasn't a bad no deal, risky yes but it wouldn't have Noel's intro "alarm bells" ringing in Becks' head, so in a way, it was pleasing that she recovered for a £5k win.

Mind you, I'm still waiting for the day Noel does the opposite of what he used to do when people dealt and then had big money in their boxes and used to guilt trip them, and berates them for turning down huge offers (although I know that won't happen as it would be cruel and not really good TV - it's a lot easier and kinder to comment in the intro to the next game)

Yet another blue/orange finish here. Been a theme this week, with decent enough bail outs at 2-box if you don't want to risk going home with a blue. Becks, like Ron went for it, and managed to salvage a nice orange sum from her game. Pleasing result, if not ideal due to her strong blue run in the middle of the game.

Well it sounded to me like Noel said 'you turned down the swap twice'. Thought that was a bit odd myself,

Becks ultimately pushed her luck too far. I did feel her board was strong enough to risk going on at £17k but i think i would have dealt the £13k myself, as it would have taken a perfect round to recover the board sufficiently . Interesting that Becks had two perfect rounds followed by two nightmare.
