The Banker says that the offer is tailored to Ron. Ron says he could do his musical hotspots trip with that money.

Ron says

NO DEAL

I must admit I forgot the clock. How many minute of live play is left.

I'm afraid I can't forget, as I can see about 14 clocks from where I'm sitting. As of now, there's about 10 minutes of gameplay left.

Maybe I could borrow one and I wouldn't be late in the future. ;)

Well I've got another 100 or so in my bedroom, so maybe you need to pay a visit there and choose one. ;)

Ron says that he suddenly felt like gambling and he felt the £5,500 wasn't just enough.

The Banker calls and says that Ron's game is going to have a big finish one way or the other.

Banker's offer:

SWAP

Ron says

NO SWAP

Box 21 with Lucy contains the £250

Noel says that he is really, really pleased with that result, and it is quite amazing when you consider that Ron is in that elite group of 3 who have taken out the top 3 amounts in 1 round.

One of those players who chases the middle reds thanks to never getting an offer above smile-money territory... we will never know if he would have been aggressive on a big-money board.

And it's there to be chased and he gets it! Result indeed.

Well done on £15,000 for a musician from Southampton - wonder if he'll be at any of the impending university music student recitals, as I will? ;)

He did very well and not many players keep a smile on their face throughout the entire game even in the face of a very bad round.

H - are you a horologist? got one of the monkey cuckoo clocks? That really confuses people if you are on the phone at the top of the hour.

YES!! Fourth spanking in five games! :D Well done Ron!

I was worried though: two other people this series (Jaron and Stephen) have had that finish, and they both won the blue! So, good to see it go the other way! Well done indeed! :D

After having the 1/364 round taking out the top 3, £15,000 is an excellent result. He was brave to turn down £5,500 at 2-box as it was 72% of the average.

Also, Noel didn't mention that today's game was a Banker Spanking!

I don't know if this is correct but the figure I have for taking out the 3 big one's in a round is 1/680,does it matter whether

the round is 5 box or 3 box?

Well done on turning the last offer down Ron! enjoy the money :box:

Stephen :-D

A trainwreck that turns into an OPW for the second time, that's amazing! :D

Yes I suppose I am, but I don't have a monkey cuckoo clock. :ponder:

I thought Ron's game today was interesting and entertaining, and luckily for him, his slightly-aggressive gameplay paid off.

Taking out the top 3 in one round doesn't always spell disaster - Stuart won about £20k I think (although Mini got 10p).

Really good game after the disastrous round. I liked Ron's original system using the diatonic scale, and the gamble was a surprise, but it was great that it paid off! :D
