Box 21 with Carol contains the £15,000

Debs says that the Banker got him. Noel says that Debs is a loser, but one of the wealthiest losers :P

Wow.

I think that's the only word that can sum up that game. I'd usually be calling BS on the proveout offer but well... I don't see how you can given what went before it.

Should have kept to her word about going for it...

Just being brave for one more round and it would have paid off BIG BIG BIG time.

So wouldn't you know it - the Banker actually did the right thing offering the mean.

Any hint of conventional Banker strategy and we'd have had a quarter-millionaire, and the first one that the Wakeyists could truly embrace as one of their own...

If she had the £15k in her box did she make the right decision or should she have went for it? Or should she have dealt the £135k?

Again: seriously?

You do realise £63,000 was 99.997% of the average. NO ONE could turn that down!
I suspect MILLIONS of people would've said DEAL!
And for once I don't care that she had the £250,000. 63 GRAND is LIFE CHANGING CASH! :D

Given what was in the box I'd actually have been gutted if she'd played on... I presume I speak for cfd also...

Indeed.

I mean I guess she might be rich and not care about the money. Or perhaps she really does truly believe and live by her "no regrets" thing.

But for 99.9% of the people watching the programme they were some massive gambles, and had she gone to the end they'd have been ridiculously risky gambles. It's not the sort of thing that should be encouraged.

I did say that that £63k was probably the easiest deal for me ever - and I stand by that.

But the way she was going before she was offered it... if she'd kept that up, it would, unbelievably, have paid off...

This. This. A thousand times this.

This is why I go on about Noel.

Er, wow!

Brilliant game! Some very good offers here. 63k was an easy deal, just a shame she had the 250k!

If only Al and Debs had switched boards....

Well, you'd think that would've been enough to generate a third jackpot winner, but we were one round away from someone being able to deal a six-figure offer that has never happened since Graeme's game, which someone pointed out!

Hey, Graeme took a ridiculously risky gamble at £41k and was right to... ;)

That would have been a very easy deal for me too - yet if he had done the same and thus missed out on a further £60k, and Mark had responded to it with his usual "OH DEAR...", I'd have probably agreed with him there too.

Just to point out, though, that it is extremely rare for me to agree with Mark... ;)
