That is a great offer says Al, but he wants to focus on the game and he wants to play. Al says when Fi was around the back of the studio the other day he noticed that there was 'Al 1' written on the scenery and he wondered if that was a sign. Noel gets the camera to show a shot of the piece of scenery and it does show 'Al 1'. Al asks one side of the wings to give advice for dealing and the the other wing advice for no dealing. Al gets various bits of advice, he then puts his good luck card from his children which has box 11 drawn on it onto box 11.

Al says

NO DEAL

Well at least we know nobody talked him into declining that last offer :)

He has to take this in his position. He doesn't?

It's a game says Al. The Banker says after bravery of that scale it would be inappropriate to celebrate, but we then hear him laughing down the phone!

Banker's offer:

£2,000.01

You have to say he was asking for trouble in the circumstances.

But that £17k was a terrible offer - given that he was incredibly brave to turn down £12k the second time...

Box 17 with Rob contains the £5,000

How on earth do you sum up that game asks Noel. Al says he came along to gamble and everyone knew that, and he hopes someone else will come along and take the same gamble but actually win the big one. Noel does a plug for Al's kitchen and bathroom fitting :D

What circumstances?

Other than being offered a low ball 17k which he had to turn down, having already knocked back a much more dealable 12 grand.

I thought that myself , Personally thought he would have offered something like 21K for rewarding his bravery for turning down the 12K

Sorry to say, but turning down 17k when 4 of the 5 boxes remaining were well under that amount? The man's a total prat, gambling it all and losing the chance to get rid of his money worries and have some left over.

Based on the board, I probably would've gone at 12k, the deal before.

His personal circumstances. And did you not see he lost his only sizeable safety net in round 5?!?

Not disagreeing at £12k was good though, and I would probably have taken it myself.

hard luck, but a refreshing change to get to the 2 box. Pity they don't offer a free holiday or some such to encourage more contestants to go to the end.

How many times do I have to say this?!

That £17k was insultingly low given what had gone before!!!

And there have been far, far more stupid No Deals in the past...
