Hugo's game today.

Noel talks about how we'll soon be celebrating, and everyone thinks he's talking about the royal wedding, but actually he's talking about the banker's birthday in a few weeks!

Hugo has box 12.

Hugo is a policeman, but says he originally wanted to go into military but weighed too much. He lost a couple of stone but it wasn't enough, and couldn't go into the army. Hugo shows a photo of his wife and daughters, and talks about his daughters' unusual surnames. He also shows a pic of him doing motorbike racing, and a pic of him receiving an award for helping during the 2007 Gloucestershire floods.

Here we go...

Ah, cautious Hugo...

Well, he did say that Dave would have been brave to turn down £3,888 - when that's what most people would have done...

Will he be cautious again and thus end this horrible run?

Hugo has some systems and he's going to start with one and continue with it if it works.

14 - Ziggy - £50,000

Hugo's now going on to another system.

17 - Al - £3,000

2 - Dougie - 50p

Noel talks about the other bald and balding contestants, and Hugo speaks to a bald bloke in the audience and asks what number he'd pick! He says 15.

15 - Michael - 1p :D

6 - Anthony - £50

Banker time

The banker talks about how the bloke in the audience is the Mini-Me of Hugo, and should've been evil! He says he's paid out just £151.01 in the last 4 games, and then says he'd like Hugo to be a weightlifter in his Victorian circus.

Banker's offer:

£9,416

Compared to last week, that's a pretty decent opening round.

That's rather a random amount to be the first offer.

An above-average start for the first time in what seems like weeks.

That makes sense but wasn't mentioned in the edit.

FD above starting value despite £250k being out of play - a good sign of how there is strength and stability in what remains. Looking pretty good for a five-figure win here.
