Doubt too many people would have taken that gamble on. Ultimately, that £35,000 twist backfired horribly - he could quite possibly have got her out for something in four figures at four-box.

Unlucky there, but £24,000 would have been very difficult to turn down for me, never mind Clare!

As sure as eggs are eggs we get your fabulous insight into the games where the player did not take the 50/50 chance of getting the "big" prize. Odd that you don't post on games where they actually dealt at the right time even though there was a biggy to be had.

Quite surprised it was Clare today, TBH - she was relatively quiet in the wings, suggesting she might be more of a Sunday player.

Anyway, I'd have probably taken that £24k myself - after all, not many would be as brave as Dale.

And also that it's as likely as snow in April that if a contestant has a Power 5 amount one day, then plays his/her game the very next day and goes to 2-box with that amount still there, he/she will be reminded about having that amount the previous day...
