The banker says he doesn't think he'd go on here, with little backup on the board.

Banker's offer:

£6,500

Three bigger than that, and there's time for one more round too...

Rachel says that's a really good offer, and Noel wonders what could happen to the next offer after various scenarios. Paul says that money would provide enough for trips for the next few winters and Rachel says it's loads of money. Paul also says she has a 50% chance of winning £1,000 or more. Rachel says she's worried about taking out the top 3 reds in the next round.

Rachel asks Chris and the banker phones and says Chris is an idiot!  He also says he's had a vision that Rachel's game will collapse now, and a vision that her boyfriend learns to comb his hair. He tells Rachel to deal and give her boyfriend a wash! The banker rings back and Rachel's boyfriend talks to him, and he threatens to go and find the banker! He tells him to meet him in the car park in 5 mins. The banker rings back again and says he has a job for Noel in 5 mins!

The offer's changed now...

Banker's offer:

£8,000

As the offer has just gone up, worth going on for at least another round.

Rachel asks Chris, who says she'd probably have to go all the way to win much more than £8,000.

Rachel says

DEAL

£8,000 was a perfectly acceptable offer for that board, so can't begrudge her TOO much for taking it...

I'm sorry to say this... but that whole sequence did NOT make good television. :x

That faffing about with Rachel's boyfriend was plain silly - and, at the end of it all, that deal was utterly predictable... :x

Think that raise would have made the difference to me there, the only thing that MAY have kept me going was the £10,000 - so it's not quite a proper 2-box game.

We're back

Round 5 - proveout

Noel says most would've gone on there, but Rachel deserves for the game to implode now.

18 - Dave - £1

21 - Will - £100

8 - Stephen - £50,000

Banker time

The banker says what Chris said was right.

Banker's offer would've been:

£9,250

Box 5 with Sophie contains the £5

Noel says the ending was only a minor disappointment.

That's three early deals in a row! And now all of a sudden, it's going all wrong

Not one of my favourite games, I'm afraid to say.

Wasn't the greatest anyway - but the amount of faffing about in it was far too much for me. :x

Especially what went on in the run-up to that £8k deal... :x :x
