Paul's game today.

Noel says the show's so popular as people play along at home, and the pilgrims visit to get even closer. He says something's going to happen for the first time, and he asks who's good with money and can read the board well. Noel speaks to a man called Andrew, and asks if he's up for being the banker's assistant, and he says he is! Noel gets him to sit in his red seat behind the scenes.

Paul has box 8.

Paul works at a service station, and has been doing that for 21 years. Paul introduces us to his step-mum in the audience, and shows a scarf that she made for him, which was supposed to wrap around him once but it's far too long! Paul shows a photo of his brother and sister and other relatives, and a pic of his cat. He also shows a cat tattoo he has. Paul talks about how his step-dad had an accident in 2008, and has had to have care ever since.

Paul says he's ready to take both the banker and the banker's assistant on! He says for the first 5 boxes, the person who opens the box chooses the next one and so on. Noel says someone did that before and it worked well.

Banker time

The banker says he needs to have a discussion with his assistant, so the small phone behind the scenes rings and his assistant Andrew from the audience answers it. Andrew says he'd offer £4,000. The banker phones Noel and says he's adopted Andrew!

The banker phones Noel, then he phones Andrew, who says they need to tread carefully and offer £6,500. The banker rings Noel back.

Banker's offer:

Noel chats to Andrew's parents in the audience, who say they've disowned him! The banker rings up and says he is Andrew's dad, so who is the bloke in the audience!

Round 3

11 - newbie Aisha - £5

Aisha's about to choose the next box, when the banker rings Noel, then he rings Andrew. The banker rings Noel back and says if Aisha messes this up by producing a large box, then she gets thrown out!

Oh my, this is quite an interesting game. A Banker's assistant. That is certainly a first!

This is getting a bit silly now. Can we just pick some boxes?

Noel asks Andrew about this, who says Aisha needs to go as that box was one of the Power 5! Noel puts it to the popular vote, and someone in the audience puts their hand up! Noel gets them down from the audience and gets him to sit with Andrew.

It's actually pretty funny for once, so I don't mind...

The banker rings Andrew, who says the game is on the edge, and Paul needs to be tempted out by edging the offer up a little. He then passes the phone to the other bloke from the audience called Simon, who says he agrees! The banker rings Noel.

Paul asks his step-mum, who says she thinks there's one more round in it.
