Ireland hold on against Scotland at Murrayfield. Shame, actually.

And how come the 'Post a reply' box is present if you're using Internet Explorer but not if you're using Firefox? :? :?

It is good.

Statistically, after the first 14 boxes (say) you are bound to get roughly 7 reds and 7 blues. So the earlier you can demonstrate that your reds are low ones, the better.

Low reds are better than high reds, for sure. You'd always rather hit blues, but it's better to hit them in the latter stages so that you have the momentum and can secure a high offer... so low reds early doors are just fine if you hit blues later. Big 'if'.

Granted, if you are going to take reds out early, it's better that they are low ones but for the banker to say the ideal round is to take out £1k-£15k is rubbish. I'd rather take out 5 blues.

We're back
Last box before the Banker

Noel runs through some of Peter's dreams, and one of them is to take his wife to Mexico where there is a hotel that she has always dreamed of staying in.

9 - £50,000 Danielle

Banker time

You have just torn a lot of money out of your game says Noel. The Banker says that was disastrous.

Banker's offer:

£5,000

Noel is already talking the game down wrt to 'stopping the rot'. So far this does seem to be go all the way, esp after just receiving a £5k offer. Its goign to be hard pyschologically for him to deal anything lower than th £20k he was just offered.

Game is set up for Peter being pushed on to 2-box now. He probably won't get another £20k offer even if he leaves £75k and £100k, thus encouraging him to go on...
