Dylan says he arrived with Ade, Darrel and Vicki, and they all had poor games. He says they said one of them would win big, and Dylan thinks it must be him.

Dylan says

NO DEAL

I would also take this :)

2box offer is likely to be lower.

Round 6

Dylan says his first game was £100,000 Dale's, and that also gives him confidence to go on.

12 - Archie - £10,000

Dylan says he's a bit of a mathematician, and doesn't think the big values will be grouped together. Noel highlights the randomness of the game.

14 - Barbara - £250

Noel says Dylan now can't take both the remaining big values.

The banker phones and says he may offer the SWAP and no money at all, so he gives Dylan the chance to stop now.

Banker's offer:

£35,000

errr, pretty easy no deal here.

We'll get offered not much less if we end up with blue/red. And 50/50 chance of £75k guaranteed.

Wish the banker hadn't added this gimmick. Was gonna say if we end on 75/100 then it's refreshing to have seen a big money game with good offers and no gimmicks...

lol yet again NOEL EDMONDS is pointing out the randomness of the game and the fact that his system got him here is down to luck. WTF am I watching here??

Dylan asks the people on the wings who had what in their boxes, so he can work out where the values were, and Noel realises it means Dylan must have the £1 in his box! The banker phones and says he believes in Dylan's grouping system, and he says he now won't offer any SWAP at all.

The banker phones back again and says he doesn't often make an offer at this stage, so Dylan should respect it. He says Dylan's mother must ask him the question, so Noel brings her down to the table to ask it!

Dylan says

NO DEAL

Noel says this is one of the most frightening climaxes we've had, due to Dylan's system telling him he has £1 in his box, and no swap available!

Banker's offer:

£21,000

Easy deal, and validates our previous gamble.

£1/£75k = £21k
£1/£100k = £30k (let's say based on this)
£75/£100k = £87k

So 2/3 chance of a small drop, and a 1/3 chance of a big iincrease.

Dylan's mother says you need to know when to stop, and she may have stopped earlier but she's not as strong as him. Dylan says he's seen so many games where people have dealt and missed out on lots, and his mum points out what he could do with the money on offer.

Dylan says

DEAL

Box 13 with Tiffany contains the £75,000

Noel apologises for calling Dylan mad over his system!

Thus vindicating his crackpot system. Good grief....

Urgh... I hate 3-box offers. £35,000 was pants for the board. I'd have wanted at least £40,000 to deal there. However, £21K was an easy deal at 2-box. :D

Yes, it changed on Monday and seems to be here to stay. It's strange they didn't introduce the new music with the new titles earlier this year...

Really happy for Dylan, he didn't let the banker's mind games get to him (I felt sorry for his mum having to ask the question!), and got a deserved victory that hopefully the 3-box incident didn't take too much of the shine off. Back in the day this would have been described as a good example of being "true to yourself!"

Well that was quite a game if I say so, but damm that sting in the tail at the last minute...I'm sure it would've been an OPW if he had gone with 13 and then dealt the final offer which cfd pointed out

Can't argue with that game at all!

I'd have also turned down £35,000 at 3-box; Pam during Trick or Treat week in 2008 got £55,000 for £5,000 backing those two up; a £20,000 gap for a £4,999 difference?! Disgusting when compared...

The way it was kept in the edit that Dale's game was Dylan's first made me wonder if he'd have the £100,000 on the table...alas not but kudos to him for avoiding a complete collapse for taking the £21,000 - which I too would have done for the record!
