£15,500. Nicely placed. Take out the QM and it will be less, take out the £100k only and it might be a little more.

No wrong decision here IMO.

Amy says that was a nice surprise and she likes the banker a bit more! Amy's brother says he'd carry on but he says he has different luck to Amy. Nick says she still has 2 good "cards" on the board.

Amy says

NO DEAL

I think it's worth the risk here today. Hope it works out for her.

How is the banker going to play this? I don't think he'll go down here.

Noel says this is frightening now, but Amy could still win the £250k. The banker says he heard Amy's boyfriend saying he was trying not to cry!

Banker's offer:

£14,444

I think she should probably deal here but she's got a touch of Dale in here I think. This is a bigger gamble than he had at 5-box though.

I'd probably deal reluctantly here unless I got a guarantee for keeping the £250k.

The FD went down so a small decrease was justified.

Throwing in the stats I see...

£17,444... that's more like it! I'd consider that!

Noel says the offer is because Amy's boyfriend once won a lot of money by putting everything on 4 on a roulette wheel. Amy says it's a lot of money but she has a feeling she can't stop now. Amy's mum asks Amy what her gut feeling was when the offer was given, and she says if she's going to have one, then have a big one. Her boyfriend says he's seen many people win next to nothing, and he doesn't want that to happen to her.

The banker rings back and speaks to Amy, and she quotes a figure of £249,000 to him!

There's a new offer...

Banker's offer:

£17,444

£17,444 is an easier deal for me now.

Noel says the banker can see the danger here, and clearly wants to stop Amy.

The banker phones back and says Amy has 30 seconds to deal, otherwise the offer reduces to £14,444!

Amy says

DEAL

Wow, putting time limits on decisions now. I just hope she takes out the QM in this round.

Round 6 - proveout

Amy reveals that she'd have probably dealt at £14,444! She says she's leaving 4 to the end.

17 - Archie - £10

19 - Danielle - £5

Noel says we're suddenly seeing the game in a different light.

The banker rings and says if this next box is £250,000 the offer would've been £888, but if it's 50p the offer would've been £88,000.

14 - Fran - £250,000

Banker time with 50p and £5,000 remaining...
