So the Banker doesn't give her the holiday, which is quite surprising IMHO - and rather rubs salt into the wound... :( :( :(

Maybe if he had done so, it would have strained the budget? ;)

But if there is anyone loving this year's Love Week at the moment, it's most definitely him... :( :( :(

Well my earlier prediction of a blue win was a bit tongue in cheek, but to win the 1p...get in! Did anyone else get the vibe that she would 'No deal', no matter what? She didn't have any sob story as such.

I think the only amount that would have got her out would have been £12,000. As I said, in real terms theres not a huge monetary difference between 1p and £100 these days, so to have a £3000 drop didn't really seem justifiable other than the stigma that goes along with a 1p win.

What stat I would like to see is the number of people who have gone away with red at that position - we know 35 are now in the 1p club( or for that matter similarly low blue<500) but how many have dodged it? Dale is the one that comes to mind in recent games.

Why should she get a handout RMF? :? Hardly anyone else does...

But seriously can this week get any worse?! Unavoidable OBW after unavoidable OBW...

Well, he has done it before after a bad game... ;)

Maz springs to mind.

Well anything's not a blatant cop-out as Brian's £3,700 or whatever it was...

The holiday is bound to be given out on the last game of Love Week whether he/she guesses the correct amount or not. It always happens in special games.
Besides, I want to see Noel pull out that sword.

Barely an EV+ play to go on at three-box given the low two-box offer on the Fadil finish, but at least she didn't make a maddeningly inconsistent decision by dealing at the end but not at three-box. Unlucky. Very unlucky.

Three wins in the £10-20k bracket out of four is not bad, but two games in a row with deeply frustrating endings now.

I thought the last offer was very disappointing after an offer of £12,000 had already been mentioned. I would have been expecting at least £10,000.

Do you think it was a deliberate tactic to lead her to a no deal and a dramatic conclusion? :ponder:

Any way a good game and she felt she had tried for the big money.

I like all the little additional touches they've made like the new sound effects and music for Love Week, along with the set design and costumes.

I'm liking that new title music they've got for this week which reminds of that version of the new theme Endemol uploaded to YouTube a few weeks back.

But are we ever going to get to see Noel's Sword of Love? :ponder: :eyes:

Three in a row for me - I thought Charlotte's incredibly cautious deal was even more frustrating than Shaun's supposed U-turn and today's trainwreck, TBH.

Ouch. Another one joins the 1p club and she really didn't make any rash gambles (although as KP said, the EV at 3-box was at most about £7k - if you figured £10k for the finish she had and £12k for finding the 1p) but in a low money game, it was probably worth the gamble.

She must also go in the hall of fame for the most bizarre methods of trying to get blues out of boxes. The squeezing thing made the now-deceased blue chant seem quite sensible.

Sheer bad luck, nothing more nothing less

Can't blame Vicki for going all the way, but i had a feeling in my gut she should have dealt that final offer. Okay, the offer might have been under par but it would have still been a spanking.

I'm not just talking with 20/20 hindsight here - The boxes were against her from the start and i had a feeling throughout she was going to have a blue in her box.

Still some good tactical play there, though personally if i were going to leave the SOD till the final round i'd probably open it first not second and as i said after Charlotte's game i'd be hoping for some sort of indicator from the Banker as to what the offer might be in the worst case scenario

The thing that annoyed me about this game was the "squeezy, squeezy" stuff. I didn't mind it at first but after the next 20 odd times she says it, it really gets irritating.

I have to agree am afraid I thought that whole thing was completely bonkers and rather annoying in the end. She seemed to search hard for a theme for her game or a lucky gesture which was ultimately futile. And to think this lady is in charge of dealing with anti social behaviour in Bristol.
