So where would one rank £75k/£100k among the best finishes?

I'd put it no higher than fifth - behind the Dream Finish (obviously), £75k/£250k, £50k/£250k and even £35k/£250k... ;)

Probably what you said. The only upside for today's finish is that it's not much of a gamble as it is basically gambling £11-£12k at even money with £75k guaranteed.

You have to value £75k/£100k at £85-87k really. So the question is what you consider the lowest fallback you would want to have turning down that for the £250k. I say £15k or £20k.

One of the best points about a 100k 75k finish is that it is a big money finish with less risk/reward either way. So if you get an offer around 80k as KP says either way its not too bad. Funnily enough with the gap between 100k and 250k being quite a significant one, I may well deal at the offer in there more than the offer in 75k 100k finish.

As Corrine's game proved even a 250k 1p finish can at times get an offer in thje 80k range, but not many would risk that (hence why she received that offer). Its all in the power of 250k.

I think the order finishes in my own preference would be: 250k-100k, 250k-75k, 250k-50k, 100k -75k, 250k-35k. Then it all gets a bit blurry between 20k-250k and 100k-50k.

So you'd actually rank £75k/£100k above £35k/£250k?

Even though, on the latter, an offer below £100k would feel pretty stingy...

I know what you're saying RMF the offer will be higher in a 250k 35k finish than a 75k 100k finish. I'm not really thinking about the actual offers here. I'm more thinking about comfort of no dealing and regret if each of the worse case scenarios are played out. Its a close call granted but I think I'd stick with my order.

That's a good point actually and I agree. :smt023
