Noel says this game is in damage limitation zone, and the banker talks about how Charlotte has ruined yet another game, and he enjoys the bad effect it has on her! He says he'd normally offer just hundreds of pounds here.

Banker's offer:

£4,000

Noel says that's a highly respectable sum of money if her luck's run out. Dylan and Darrel offer some advice and say the top amounts left would make a big difference to Leanne. She speaks to her fiancée and Noel says Sophie had £35,000 on the table yesterday and he wonders what the chances are of it appearing again.

Leanne says

DEAL

Noel says Leanne's dealt at the lowest offer of the game and he wonders if Leanne's luck was about to return.

Noel calls a break...

We're back

Round 5 - proveout

Noel says Leanne kept saying through the break that she couldn't risk it. He says she won't be able to do everything with that money but she can still fulfil some.

6 - Phoenix - £20,000

Noel says this feels good, as he doesn't believe £35k will be on the table 2 days in a row.

15 - newbie Debbie - £3,000

9 - Paul - 10p

Noel says that's the disaster box we didn't want.

Banker time

Round 6 - proveout

Noel says this is fascinating stuff after the amazing start to the game.

12 - Ellen - 50p

22 - Tiffany - £1,000

"NO!" shouts Noel.

7 - Dom - £5,000

Banker time with £1 and £35,000 remaining...

Noel says that underlines how peculiar this game is.

Box 5 with Vel contains the £1

Leanne says she's over the moon with £4,000 as it's a lot of money.

Should have been a LOT more brave.

Now that is 3 power five wins in a row blown away...

More bravery is what is most needed !

Looks like someone is going to have a big regret not going all the way to the end.

With that £4k offer, should have through about what she had yesterday. Going all the way, then she could have done the things she wanted, but that's not going to happen.

An unlucky OPL there. The £4,000 offer was dealable and I'd have been tempted to take it myself. It'd have only gone up had we left £20k/£35k to 5-box and the amount of increase would depend on what was left with them. £5k was a believable 5-box offer, and so was £8.5k at 2-box. Both of which were dealable in their own right.

*sigh* Another boring game just like Sophie's yesterday. To go from 10 REDS to just £35,000 as the maximum at 8-box is seriously unlucky.

I was confused at how she was apparently so decisive at 14-box, but not at a weaker 11-box offer...

Vicious swings of fortune in that one, and given her moderately safe play, she was unfortunate indeed that the ADP was the game's trough.

I think this is the 9th show I have seen live (starting to lose count :P ) and this has been the best opening rounds compared to all the others.

Where yesterday it was a matter of regret, today was simply bad luck. It proves why some people would rather eliminate some reds first rather than blues.

I will confess that the person shouting "yes" when Vicki revealed £10,000 did come from me.   I was sat by the West Wing and thought it was £1,000.

Round 2

The banker phones and says he can tell Leanne's unsettled, so he asks if she'd like to borrow a coat, and a pilgrim donates one.

They edited that bit out. Noel asked her where she got it from and guessed Primark, the lady in the audience replied "Matalan actually".

By the sounds of it, he deliberately kicked into touch the fact that Sophie could have had £107k instead of just £7k...

She turned down 3.5 times that amount without any hesitation, though... :?

And surely she must have had some regret at suffering an OPL at the end of all that? :? :? :?

Dale's game feels more and still more distant...

Now I don't agree with the deal myself... but you need to get out of your multi-million pound mansion instead of watching Deal or No Deal... it's not for you.

Although she had a super start she was never offered lifechanging money - so I don't think she will have many regrets.
Like yesterday she would probably have taken the 5 or 2 box offers if she had gone on so it is not realistic to say she would have got £35,000.
