Horrible game. Had the pleasure of sitting next to Beryl's husband in the audience for one of last week's game and they seemed a lovely couple.

She didn't even get the comfort of a unique 2-box offer to take.

I thought George got dealt a bad hand yesterday, but that game was relentlessly cruel.

The kind of board that makes an OHO of the most conservative of players. But Beryl seemed to take it on the chin.

Not the best start to a month

I share your views on this, well said... it was just one of those games of which was relenntless bad luck for her. Hopefully tommorows player should or ought to get.... an easier ride as todays game's not been the contestants best friend.

Beryl's game is definitely up there with Nikki Tucker's and Derek Brown's among the unluckiest ever.

Horrible opening round, damage in all the other rounds, and that last one was in fact the worst possible. And her highest offer was little more than twice Mr Brown's...

And to top it all off she becomes number 34.

(On a lighter note, surely the barge is on the verge of sinking now? )
