Poor lady. You have to feel for her. Her reaction of the 3k offer was one of shock -the £700 offer stunned her.

Oh no, highest left just £5,000. :(
I hope she doesn't become #34.

Beryl says she used to like this game! The banker laughs wildly down the phone, which gets lots of BOOs from the audience. He says Beryl hasn't done anything wrong, and her luck just hasn't been here today. Beryl says this must all be a dream and it's not the dream she wanted!

Banker's offer:

£250

Beryl's husband tells her to see what's in the box. Patricia says £250 won't change Beryl's life, so maybe she should go for it like Dale did.

Beryl says

NO DEAL

There's no planning for luck like that. Even Sherilyn might have still been playing.

Beryl says she could put the 1p in a chain and wear it as a necklace. The banker says if the viewers chose Beryl's luck, she'd have won the £250k.

Banker's offer:

£1

Beryl says

NO DEAL

Noel says Beryl is the 34th member of the 1p club.

Box 12 with Stu contains the £5

Beryl says she had the 1p 3 times when she was on the wings, and she won't be coming here again.

There was nothing she could do. It's not her fault, just the boxes were unkind today. :(

Sounds like it would have taken her namesake from the early days of the show to have avoided that.........

I think the hour-long timeslot works a lot better when there are characters like Derrick or Beryl playing their games. The only problem with the longer timeslot is when there's a player who's rather quiet or emotional (like Georgina yesterday) and we end up with a lot of emotional footage in the final edit...

Perhaps Noel is trying to make the show alike to his xmas present show, that is great the time of year it is on ,but people sitting down to watch a game show after work every day during the year do not want to see people who have no personality or are crying all the while,I can cry like others but not almost every day it is losing viewers

You can not please all of the people all of the time  .
I tried to keep a positive feel to my game even when i took out the 50k and 100k in the first round and people said i was fake and had a moan.
I myself don't think Deal are that worried about the longer version of the show, they would have finished this years shows by the end of the month going by dates on the thread further down (if i remember rightly  ) and they are still holding auditions for future shows.
