The banker says he'll be beaten to death if Dale wins a blue!

Noel says that offer is massive respect. Dale starts to wonder if the banker would be prepared to do something, and the phone rings. He asks the banker if he can go forward one box at a time. The banker says if the next box is blue, there'll be an offer immediately, but if it's a red, Dale will have to go to 2-box.

Noel asks Andy and he says he doesn't think the next offer would be much more even if he found a blue. The banker rings back and says if Dale finds a blue, the offer after the next box will be £19,000.

Dale says

NO DEAL

Dale has to play on until 2-box as he found a red.

22 - Charlotte - £5,000

12 - Leanne - £10

Banker time with £250 and £100,000 remaining...

If he wants the £100k, then he has got to be very brave as he did keep saying, go for it.

I did think it would be the old faithful. Hopefully it's the right choice.

I was expecting a bit more than £26k. More like £35k. Seems like a push to the gamble....

Dale's mum says that's just reward. Noel says he's duty-bound to remind him that he could still win £100,000 but also £250. Dale says £26,000 would get him to the Andes, and Noel says if he no deals and it goes wrong, he won't have a chance to come back here as he's only here once. His dad says it's too much of a gamble.

Dale says

This has to be undoubtedly the bravest player of 2011 so far. I thought he was going to deal £26,000. When he said "go for it", he meant it. He really did think hard about the offer. I was VERY SURPRISED when I heard "NO DEAL." What a gamble that really was! Well done Dale. Enjoy the £100,000 and good luck with Mt. Everest!

This is why we keep watching DOND. Absolutely amazing and I couldn't bear to watch Noel open the box. A thoroughly deserved win from a player who has given so much encouragement to other players. I am glad he had the courage to go on. Hopefully that bit of bravery will be ringing in Noels ears for weeks to come. When he revealed the £100k the look of shock on Noels face was a picture and he seemed to be dumbstruck in disbelief.

That £100k win means the kitty is going to be a bit restrictive for a few games to come though.

And Noel can take those speeches about courage and timing and stick them where the sun don't shine after that result

I was beginning to fear the worst there when he turned down Old Faithful but he pulled it off and nobody can fault his courage
