That is ugly says Noel, but the Banker says it is beautiful and the board is a work of art.

Banker's offer:

£800

Dave turns to his girlfriend and asks if she is thinking the same as him, and that he has to play to the end now to win the £20,000, she agrees.

Dave says

NO DEAL

It's harder to tell with the extra minutes whether the extra padding either means an early deal or a bad luck game but it's not looking good for Dave.

Hope I'm wrong though.

With £11,500 now guaranteed to be the peak offer barring an AMO on £3k/£20k, it certainly seems likely that he will.

With £100 guaranteed and 5 of the remaining 6 amounts being high reds or oranges, wouldn't be surprised if he chased the £20k. Even the £100 being found, isn't going to get the offer above about £3k and that would be worth the gamble.

Yes a 7 or 8k opening offer would have been more realistic and all that b/s about how the banker respects the player. Nobody has ever(or ever will) deal at the first two offers - unless it was something out there like 20k which one of the shrewder players would deal at.

Of course that would also be good tv in its own way and I may yet eat my own words. It could open up to a bankers gamble I suppose.

Noel says he is really sorry, and this game has no respect for some people, and being so unpredicatable is what makes it so popular with everyone. Dave says he is absolutely gutted that the £20,000 went. Noel wonders why the Banker is taking so long to call.

Banker's offer:

£500

Unusual 5-box configuration and the offer is half the mean but the 2nd lowest amount.

He's going to the end now whatever happens now.

Wow 4 consecutive days of the nightmare round now.

That's incredibly unlikely.

This not where we wanted to be says Noel. Noel asks how long he has waited to appear on the show, and he says he applied back in 2008. The Banker thinks that Dave's phone will be ringing after the show with people wanting to help him and his charities.

Banker's offer:

£225

Matty with box 3 contains the £500

That was just cruel and unrelenting to the end says Noel.
