It's a bit more difficult to disentangle the two when risk-obliviousness gets praised so much on the show though - makes it very easy for such a player to say they are "playing the game properly" when the host implicitly (and lately, not very implicitly!) says the same thing!!
I am nodding in agreement with you KP. Having watched the intro to Mia's game with Noel, outrightly calling Scott 'cocky' you have to say Noel really does want his cake and eat it. After timid players we have Noel screaming "get some bravery" then a few games later we have such a player who gambles it for a power 5 finish and who he meekly calls "cocky" and "beaten by himself". Of course I'm not taking Noels words seriously as you've said yourself he is always contradicting himself, but listening to his speeches is very interesting.
