Noel says the banker is a very lucky man, as the players haven't been matched to the boards lately.

Banker's offer:

Box 3, now with Rina, contains the £1,000

Jim says that shows how his luck was going today.

It all went horribly wrong again, it's becoming late 2009 all over again...

Well he took that rather stoically. I also noticed Noel eating a bit of humble pie at the beginning after his rant yesterday about bravery. Since his outburst both players were arguably bold and brave enough to go to the end and were rewarded with a blue and a honourary blue!

Actually yesterday's dealt very early but yes, since that rant, a blue and an orange on the table.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if Noel doesn't truly believe these things he's saying, and he's shown enough selective contrition to believe he doesn't, he would tell the producers not to make him, and leave the show if he doesn't get his way. The mere threat would scare them. It is not intrinsic to this format's success to coerce players into acting against their true preferences, much less to endorse gambling beyond the point of reason to an audience that, given the timeslot, will include many children and unemployed people.

Bit of a "meh" game TBH.

A very entertaining player but the gameplay wasn't much to be honest. At least they had something to fill in the extra 12 minutes today with as there wasn't really a tough decision to make all game.

Jim was a bit of a charecter - even if he couldn't count to three - but the board didn't go his way and the game never really took off. Of all the blue/red combos that are possible at two-box £750/£1000 must surely be the most anti-climatic
