Good grief, no. BG's with the £250k in play should need a minimum of £50k not to look like a desperate attempt to make another jackpot winner.

I could actually see them offering it if they were that desparate to create a male quarter-millionaire - I'm still sceptical about them offering Alice it, even though I guess at the time it was good as a one-off!

Don't blame Ian for dealing at 8 Box, especially having negotiated an extra couple of grand out of the Banker. For a minute there it did look like he'd done the right thing and I doubt many people would have gotten past the 5 box offer given the damage he did in the next round.

Yes, there's always a twinge of dissapointment when the £250k comes to the table and isn't won, but he could just as easily have had a blue in front of him.
