Antonio says dropping £5,000 would be a drop for him, but going up to £15,000 would be a massive reward. Antonio says the money is real money.

Antonio says

DEAL

Quick recap as I catch up on Miljoenenjacht.

First round; probably not as bad as it looks. Seems set for a low five-figure win with average luck, so £8,500 is not a strange opener these days.

Prediction psychology, which sets up an Old Faithful offer if the chance comes. Which it's unlikely to now the jackpot's gone. Someone who helps asylum seekers gets described as "working in asylums" for the purpose of a gag. Compare, contrast; the Dutch show's efforts to raise money for international development charities, the UK show making a gag out of asylums. Anyway, a more easily anticipated joke in the form of the offer, and after another disastrous round, another joke offer. The only way to reach the £25k-£35k bracket is to go to the end now, and you can expect Noel to point that out more than once.

Oh, £35k goes before he can point it out more than once. And we get an Ant and Dec reference. They'd be better than Noel at this, but they have bigger fish to fry. Noel hints at 1p/£15k being a drop from £1,495 - what the hell? Oh, there we go, 1p goes, and £15k stays, with an orange kicker. I'd want six or seven grand; we get six, I think I'd have to go for it, but I'm not sure I'd want to. Good offer, well-judged for a decision, unlike yesterday's. He plays safe, and it goes against him, but a decent result from a bad game.

The game wasn't gonna be brilliant, let's face it

I warmed to Antonio.. he seemed a decent chap. But the reveal of the £15,000 in the box was awful, it could have been an awesome OPW if he just went for it, £1,000 is a great backup on the £15,000 after such a dodgy game

Antonio came across well but yet again it was a game with very little good luck. A little surprised to see him deal at the end, as it was the sort of game that encourages fatalism, shame he missed out on £15k but at least he went away with a nice 4 figure sum

Games seem to be coming in pairs recently. Similar to yesterday in that the middle of the game was rotten and then managed to keep a low 5-figure red to 2-box, which was one of what I call "contestant's choice" decisions in that neither was wrong but up to the contestant to make the right decision for them.

Nice chap but this was a prime example of bottling it. £15k chucked away all for the sake of a bit of bravery!

Lets face it £1000 is a tidy sum to be taking away as a minimum so why not gamble?

Its sheer greed.

Maybe he didn't want to gamble £5k. Maybe he was quite happy with what he'd won.
