Noel says that was a cruel moment as Jan was so close to pulling out 3 blues. The banker says he's thinking of ONLY offering the SWAP with NO money.

Banker's offer:

£1,000

Jan says it's a lot of money. She asks the audience what they'd do, and they say they'd go on. She says the offer is very very generous.

Jan says

NO DEAL

I've seen very, very, VERY generous with that final 2...

Anyway, no hat-trick of 4-box deals - and unless I'm very much mistaken, I make that at least the third time this season that a player has turned down the final offer with the 1p still there, and not won it...

Goodness gracious me. How you can let a player that risk-averse go to the end is beyond me.

And I'm so glad he did. :D

Six five-figure wins in a row, and three of them (including this one in just about the most pedantic manner possible) have been OBWs...

Nice last minute swerve by Jan there, really looked like she was headed for a trainwreck, but to get £10k out of a game like that is a victory in itself.

After the last few games, one where the player really didn't have any decisions to make apart from whether to swap at the end.

Thankfully, she didn't.

The measurements on 'outright' and 'technical' wins are only a rough guide for convenience purposes anyway, they don't tell the whole story. To borrow a quote from someone a while back, it was an 'outright banker win' on paper, but the game isn't played on paper.
