Noel asks the banker if Christine can start again, and he says there's no need as she could deal this offer and have sensible money.

Wasn't it 50-show Lucy who first asked "can we start again?", or was it someone else?

Anyway, on a two-box game at eight-box, this is just about dealable, and though I wouldn't take it, she might. Certainly after yesterday.

Husband feels £5k isn't enough, she goes with that, the fear is a one-box game.

Christine says that's a lot of money, but she wants to go on and play the game. Her husband says she should go with her heart. She says she's already rich in life because of her family, and Elli says everyone will support her, whatever she decides to do. The banker phones back and says he's enjoying this, so he changes the offer.

NEW OFFER

Banker's offer:

£15,000

Christine wonders whether to go with her heart or her head, and she says everything's telling her different things. Marcel says he gets feelings like Christine does, but if she loses the 2 reds then it's game over. Christine says again how she'd really like to play on, and the banker phones back again. He says he's got a great feeling watching her fall apart, and he wants to make it worse.

NEW OFFER

Banker's offer:

£17,000

That's a difference-maker; £15,000 is definitely much more like it in my book, and might just be enough. £12,000 certainly wouldn't.

Oh it's £17,000 now? To be honest, I'm thinking the two-box offer will just be higher now, so I'm playing on...

Christine says she really wants to play the game. Noel says he'll give her total silence to decide.

Christine says it's a lot of money but she doesn't want to deal. She says she wants to go on but she can't say "no deal"!

Christine says

DEAL

Noel says that was the perfect round and was seriously cruel luck.

Banker's offer would've been:

£70,000

Oh look, Noel stays out of the decision, and she Deals. Couldn't possibly be regretting what happened in the last game, could he?

Hope so, anyway, because it might mean that he doesn't spin this one... and in the meantime, the RAF is set to respond to budget cuts with the commissioning of a new porcine division.

Christine fell for the Banker's increased offers trick and it worked on this occasion...but not me, I will never let The Banker get the better of me

Ouch. Given her bad luck earlier in the game I can understand exactly why Christine felt she couldn't turn down the 5 box offer - especially after the Banker upped it twice - but of all the times to have a perfect round. It's cruel enough she had the £50k in her box but at least if she'd have kept the 1p in play the proveout might not have seemed so harsh.

Personally, I thought £17k was a good offer for the board. It was hard to tell what the generosity of the offer would have been on a red/blue finish. Sadly, we never got to find out.

Loved the wandering camera man today.
