Noel's wonders what is in box 4. The Banker says he would have offered the SWAP.

Banker's offer:

Banker's Gamble

Darren says he is speechless. Bryan says this is a 50/50 chance to just double your money, and would you take that chance at a casino.

Darren says

NO DEAL

Noel offers Darren the SWAP, and Darren says that he would always keep the box he was given.

Noel opens box 20 and reveals £50,000

Box 4 with Paul contains the 10p

Noel asks Darren's wife to promise that when she is enjoying the hot tub she won't ever say to Darren that he could have had £50,000!

Deal sounded a bit cautious, but you'd be lucky to get £21k on that finish, so perhaps it could have been worse...

Ruined before 5-box is all I can say

A cracking game, multiple genuine decisions to make on a big-money board is my idea of a classic, and this game had just that!

Good call to play on to five-box, justifiable to stop there, and the in-play offer there would have been slightly lower but still a clear Deal, so the right call regardless of the box contents.

Yes, we're getting some fascinating games this week, and no doubt that will continue with the Halloween specials next week... ;) Don't often get £30k offered at 8-box, but it was more than justifiable to go on given the stability, and sensible to cut his losses at 5-box for a decent wedge. Well played by both sides, that banker's gamble was a bit pointless though, far too big a risk for any sane person really. And how many times has the £50k been at the table in the last month?!

Fascinating game. To my mind the problem with a dream board like Darren had though is judging when it's going to peak, the higher it builds up the more it's going to plummet once it turns sour. Sadly he pushed his luck one round too far but it was a justifiable gamble and given the damage he did in that 5th round the offer was surprisingly generous

Banker's gamble was a bit of a no brainer though - if he'd dealt for less then maybe but £21k was too much to gamble on a coin toss.

It'd have been perfect on 10p/£75k, but on 10p/£50k it was just an excuse to imply he was one decision, not two, away from £50,000... at least we saw the hypo-swap with the big money on the table in the first place, dents a conspiracy theory that a few of us followed after some of the recent shenanigans!

Interesting game but do we have to imply now that if the Officialbanker on twitter decides to ask people to comment on a game, it's bound not to be a mundane one.
