Wow says Noel. The Banker thinks that Marley has made some brave no deals and is going to offer the average now.

Banker's offer:

£11,500

Box 1 with Jess contains the £20,000

The Banker got the last laugh in the end says Noel, but compared to some recent results that is a great win. Marley says he has had a great experience on the show and asks all the contestants not to be influenced by his game as he intended to play to the end from the start.

Argh!!! :smt009

Finally someone goes further than 5-box and sod's law, it goes the wrong way!

Can Season 6 get any worse?

Another show where the banker was doing his best to be nice to him and send him away with a tidy sum, knowing he only had the 3k. He must have been totally exasperated with him with the last offer, hence no "gamble" offered.
Bryan showed he has sussed out the game and stats yesterday, I'm surprised he didn't seek his opinion. Always strikes me as a stupid thing to say that "I was always going to go to the end" Why? in Heavens name!

The sort of result that probably felt so much worse in the studio than it actually was, and however disappointed he looked, I think Marley probably knew that - if he'd brought a blue to the table it'd have felt even more crushing, especially after the last few games. Not that much of a consolation I know, but it's a small mercy nonetheless! Plus his speech at the end was a lot more convincing than "Don't be influenced" speeches we've had in the past... :unsure

After the past week it was a nice change to see a game where the player was in control and not the Banker (for Banker read production team). No mind games, no twists, It didn't work out for Marley but he gave it one hell of a shot.

ironic isnt it that the banker never offered the mind game of a swap when, if it had been offered and accepted, the player would have won. Though Marley never mentioned anything special about the boxes, so perhaps it would have been a bit random.

I was wondering this too. Perhaps he was offered it and declined it, which they then left out so a lot of other things could be left in (e.g. the hair-feeling bit, which just looked odd).
