The banker says Barry is odds-on to take out the £250k in the next round.

Banker's offer:

£19,000

Definitely a good round - any that doesn't include taking the £250,000 out is one. Average up again. £500 guaranteed is also good psychologically. £25,000 is my requirement here.

Hmm, offer has gone down. It's not quite £NO_DEAL but it's verging on it. Guess they want him to go on.

Round 6

18 - Paul - £20,000

Noel says Barry's had no superstition, and Barry says he has faith in the game.

22 - Steve - £250,000 :(

Noel says this is damage limitation recovery mode!

14 - Robbie - £3,000

Banker time with £500 and £10,000 remaining...

Noel says everything's changed in just a few minutes. The banker concedes that Barry may well have won big on another day.

Banker's offer:

£4,000

£4,000 is good there. I'd be taking it.

Barry says that's good and Noel says it's hugely respectable. Noel runs through Barry's game and his offers, and says he can't win anything higher than any of his previous offers.

Barry says

NO DEAL

Noel says whatever you feel about Barry, he's true to his word, and he says Barry's declined a total of over £80,000.

Barry wins £500 from his box 16.

Box 3 with Darren contains the £10,000

Barry says he's had a great time and has had an electric experience. :D

I just hope he made those decisions without any pressure; the last three were all dealable, although none were crying out to be taken (even the £4k was in the uncertainty zone for me with the high blue backup). Horribly frustrating for a gambler to have a blue on the table with fourSIX reds left on the wings at the end, one of them £250k - built hope up, before it was torn down again.

Having seen the game go wrong again, the players won't be so influenced by the two consecutive £50k sales (or the spin placed upon them); I just hope Barry wasn't, it certainly looks like he had a lot of fun in any event.

I'm getting more cynical towards this show all the time - what Noel said about superstition/faith and the fact that he seemed to look very disappointed when Barry said he wanted to open Steve's box, made it inevitable the QM was in it. My mum thinks I'm an idiot for thinking that though. :)

And I agree that the cuddle brothers (especially Robbie) are WAY OTT. He was on the floor when the £250k got opened! He wasn't too bad before they put Marley next to him though! Why were they all crying at the end? Barry seemed Ok with it and it was his game!!

That said, i thought Barry was great and it's typical that having one had only one blue left on the board at 7-box, he wins it.

I remember Barry well even from my 3 games I saw earlier this month (although the Yorkshire accent stood out for me being a Yorkshire lad myself).

Nothing wrong with his decisions today, 8-box was probably a deal for me but you can't blame him for gambling.

That was a cruel ending, to take just £500 from a game where just about every offer was over £10k is bitterly dissapointing.

Personally I would have probably dealt at 8 or 5 box though Barry seemed perfectly happy with his decisions to go on and at least he seemed to consider the offers before no dealing them
