The Banker says he tried to draw Max into his trap.

Banker's offer would've been:

£1,700

Only beaten by £1,000, but that collapse at round 4 was horrible!

Were back to train-wrecks once again

I wouldn't call it a train wreck when £5,000 was in the box. I'd class a train wreck as an avoidable journey to winning a blue.

£1,000 isn't a bad defeat, so the deal was never a bad one. Just a shame that the board collapsed as it did.

I thought Lois was the newbie today, when it went to people around her at the beginning as I did not recognize her, good game though, and we have a WRAPPER on the wings.

A game that crashed at precisely the wrong time to be really interesting; the 11-box board was fascinating, the following crash ruinous. Nice twist from the banker, clearly feeling he too was robbed of the chance to provide a big eight-box decision, and it's a result that won't upset either side.

Out of the games I had seen live, this was the first one that had a really bad crash in it. £4k was a nicely placed offer as only an all red finish or a £20k/blue finish would be more and the 40% of a 4-box offer probably wasn't worth the risk.

That was certainly a nasty crash, Max did well to get out when he did under the circumstances.

Not really sure why anyone would take the Banker up on the one to open gamble when there was a 60% chance of finding a red :ponder: Seems a rather blatent trap even for him

And Angela has to be the most talkative newbie we've had in ages...
