Box 22 with Janet contains the £250

Kenny says that he is having a holiday, new car, and will give back the deposit that his parents gave him.

£20,000 on the table via swap this time...these contestants can't seem to get an OPW at all

An OBW but not one that Kenny will have too many regrets from.

I had an early swap in my game and picked the box I had as the next one. Angela who played not long after me also had an early swap but chose to keep the box she had to the end. If memory serves me correct that one had the 250K. Will be interesting to see what was in box 3.

BTW I'm pretty sure the banker/producers would have known that story as seemed a random offer when it was made to him.

I'm pretty sure Angela also swapped away her original box - she swapped away the 250k.

Yeah, thats what I said. :?

I think I misunderstood your message - the way you typed it, it made it look like you thought she kept her original box on the table - when I've just remembered she left it on the wings to the end.

O right i see what you mean. Yeah she swapped but didnt open the box she had originally brought to the table until the very end. Her point was, which is probably a fair one, that if she hadn't had the swap then she would have her original box and the one she chose to swap with till the end.

Compared to Jade's game yesterday, the 14k offer was low, had he not taken out the 100k in the first box I bet some of you would be talking about poor decisions and nobody having what it takes for the big money etc
Because I am convinced the Banker knows what's in all the boxes, I can predict at either 8 box or 5 box what the player has, e.g. at 8 box yesterday I knew Jade didn't have a big number (for the board) and at 5 box today knew he had a red but probably not the 100k

Not a bad game, the opening round swap always makes for an interesting twist.

With three boxes higher than the offer at 5 box the 'one box to open' offer felt like a trap. He had a 60% chance of hitting a red and i suspect that even if he's hit the £20k the offer would have dipped, so i'm glad Kenny didn't fall for that one.

Also don't think i've ever seen anyone so pleased to hit the 1p in proveout

I was mumbling under my breath at his decision to deal, but it turned out that I was wrong after the next round! He was never going to the end to win the red so he went at the right point. I'd certainly be very happy with what he ended up with! Was good to see Neddy on top form as well! :smt023

It doesn't even show it on the TV listings and shows Countdown as only lasting half an hour. :ponder:
