Aww man, I could've had that 2-box ending!

Ouch. £100k/10p might have been a BG. £100k/£5k won't be. Old faithful here I suspect.

Is this going to be one of those classic irony situations says Noel

Banker's offer would've been:

£35,000

£35k isn't massively inflated, perhaps a little.

Box 18 with Andy contains the £100,000

What a game says Martyn, and Martyn's dad says he will enjoy all the money

And it's a lucky escape for him...

I wish someone would tell Noel and say to him that there will NEVER be a male jackpot winner, end of story

And were still on the road towards my prediction date of the next possible QM win

Just about a TPW today. I think the 2-box offer would have been nearer £30k in real play to be honest but to hit 1 of the only 2 2-box combinations that were going to give some regret was unlucky.

wow! best game of the season so far by a country mile!
has me looking forward to the rest of the weeks games :)
that 5 box finish did look really strong, i thought maybe a bit more than 18k would be offered?
either way 5k in the box was the icing on the cake!

A really tough game to call that one. I think most of the offers from the 3rd onwards could be argued either way.

As was the case on Friday, Martyn reached on a point at the end of the third round where, as strong as the board looked he hadn't really left himself anywhere to go and there was every chance he was going to have a bad round. To only drop £4k after the round he had was pretty good and i don't blame him for dealing it, just unlucky the proveout didn't go his way.
