What rotten luck THAT was - it's always the best contestants that have crap games!!!!

So glad he dealt when he did, at least he got something worth winning.

Enjoyed that game, Buzz was brilliant, I was so shocked when he took out those 5 reds in the beginning! But well done to him for dealing then.
I liked the Sinatra bit too especially the 'Somethin' Stupid' and Noel's 'do..beedobeedo'

I had to tape this as I was out all day....after the first round I was wishing I hadn't bothered! But I'm so glad Buzz managed to turn it around and conclusively beat the banker - I really didn't want to see him do badly as he's one of the most entertaining and memorable contestants of the current lot. Well done Buzz!

Well done to Buzz. Congratulations on beating the banker despite having the worst opening round ever!!

The Sinatra references were brilliant. Noel's puns and shirt were as cringeworthy as each other. All in all, classic Deal or No Deal.

Really enjoyed todays show!

Great recovery after the most awful start ever! I thought this was going to rival Geordie and Jason for most relentlessly unlucky game. But in the end, while Buzz did predictably have a blue, he sold it for nearly £10k - to use a football term, he certainly showed bouncebackability!

Confirmation he did indeed have the worst start ever; that distinction was previously held by Audrey (December 12) if you're talking in terms of 'value removed from the board' (she hit four of the same five as Buzz, but hit £1,000 instead of £15,000). In terms of the Bother's Bar 'fair deal' value, Irene (January 2) held the dubious distinction, thanks to hitting £10,000 and every one of the Power Five except £100,000; until today she was the only player to hit five from the top eight, a 1 in 470.25 chance.

We haven't a properly disasterous start since Linda's game.

That was very unfortunate for him today, there are only four worse possibilities in an opening round...

Losing 5 of the top 7: 1 in 1,254
Losing all of the top 4: 1 in 1,463
Losing 5 of the top 6: 1 in 4,389
Losing all of the top 5: 1 in 26,334

The consolation is, you can hit the bottom numbers like this as many times as the top ones.

Edit: I shouldn't type and watch the telly at the same time, accidentally called him "her"...

Well done, Buzz. After the start he had, he did brilliantly.

No -one deserves the bad luck of drawing out £10,000, £15,000, £75,000, £100,000 and £250,000 as the first five balls, least of all a genuinely nice guy that Buzz seemed to be.

The look of joy when he found out he only had £100 in his box after dealing at £9,800 was totally genuine and is one of the highlights for me over the last few weeks.
