Well, that's going to put people off swapping. Being a cynic, I wonder whether one of these 22 will face a 'Banker knows where the money is' game with a blue on the table...

Horrible end to the game, but the last three gambles were pretty risky so she had to be prepared for that. I'd likely have gone at eight-box to be honest...

Banker's offer:

£50

For sakes of accuracy, the first offer was €50 not £50

Well, at least she was prepared to go away with nothing but that was a gutting end to the game.

Surprised she turned down £17,500 so quickly and was surprised the 2-box offer wasn't closer to £13k-£14k to reward her bravery.

What price that the 1st offer tomorrow will be the SWAP?

That was turning into a nice little turnaround game, but ultimately Sonia pushed her luck too far. Certainly i don't think i would have got past 5 box.

Still, Sonia seemed to have no qualms about any of her decisions - though i bet she could have kicked herself for swapping away the big money - and she has to be commended for that, whether it paid off or not i have no doubt she played her own game.

Oh GOD.

What makes that worse is thinking if she was always going to swap at 2-box, if she'd gone left instead of right at 3-box, she'd have left the all power-5 finish and presumably swapped for the £100k.

(I didn't watch the game so it may have been the number she swapped for was significant in which case my last comment is irrelevant). :)

I've almost given up on the show at the moment to be honest, I'm just expecting every game to go seriously wrong in some way, even Wendy's did!!

Yes, that's kind of the mentality I have at the moment, so no wonder what the players on the wings must be thinking! Although I would never literally give on the show if only because of all the stats I keep around it! :D

Anyway, that was courageous play from Sonia, and full marks to her for playing the game how she wanted to, especially when it would be easy to be cautious after the last few weeks. At least she was able to cope with the consequences, so I suppose in that way she made the right decision. I would be so gutted to have swapped away a power 5 for a tiddler, but in reality I think I'd have left at 5-box.

My rather neat EV calculator (which I may have mentioned before) estimated about £6,000 at 8-box and £14,000 at 5-box, which illustrates the generosity the banker afforded her today, she probably pushed her luck a bit too far.

The last one was 3 weeks ago...and I agree with James in this one, if we get any more of this I too will be tempted to stop watching altogether
