I think she should probably take this (although I think I'd carry on). I really don't want to see her winning a blue!

Noel tells De this is her 2nd highest offer of her game and to think about this offer very carefully. De talks about her husband and how he has been ill and spent 5 months in hospital and she would love to have him at home.

De says

NO DEAL

Jean opens box 11 and reveals £500

De says winning the 1p is better than being Miss Nobody, and is upset that she can't get her 1p kiss now, so Noel gives her a kiss.

De is now the 30th member of the 1p club.

A real shame that the game never got going for De - she was a great character and the show itself was very entertaining; it's a pity the boxes were being cows to her. :P

Still at least she seemed quite upbeat about it all and even managed to call Noel a wise old bird, which is quite tame considering everyone else was a bunch of cows.

Wow - that was dire. A swappy, box 4, 1p winner. Never a decision to be made really. A determined, must-go-away-with-something player, could have taken £2,500 I suppose.

This was what we didn't need, another one joins the club :(

Now the wings are going to go be so cautious, unless another player like De comes along and wins huge

Horrible game, yet once Noel called the break you could tell it was either going to be a blue/£35,000 final 2 deal or a complete trainwreck...and sadly it was the latter!

30 members now...Jesus...

Has anyone ever had 9 blues vs one red before? A relentlessly unlucky game; no offers worth taking unless you're absolutely desperate to avoid a blue win. And we now have thirty members of the 1p club. It's lost pretty much all of its comedy value now if you ask me.

What's quite strange is that winning 1p used to be predominantly a male thing, yet seven of the last eight people to do so have been women!

The only way to win anything decent from that game was to pick the boxes in a different order. This absolutely defines Unavoidable Trainwreck.

Ouch. Really horrible game there, nothing that De could do.

The only offer worth considering was £2,500, and considering her game and what she said about her husband, I wouldn't have blamed her for taking it. There were some heated comments behind me in the room when Noel was encouraging her to no deal; even I was surprised that he didn't say that going for £35,000 might not be right for her.

Just to emphasise how bad her game was, the chances of having 9 blues and 1 red at 10-box is 605/646646, or less than 1/1000. Or one-in-a-cowsand. Ahem.

A wonderful person with a great personality and just relentless bad luck. It seemed the kind of game that had she dealt the £2,500 at 5 box, she'd have had the £35k on the table.

I wonder after this game, whether the Muller sponsorship seemed a good idea.
