Strictly speaking, the second Brenda was the first contestant to go away with nothing, as she did not actually get the NYC trip she dealt for (and revealed as such on the forum which was a courageous thing to do seeing as Endemol read it). Ever since I found that out, I set myself an iron rule: whenever you're offered something other than cash it is always, always a No Deal.

The second offer is useless relative to the first, frankly.

Really? That's extremely unfair. Did they compensate her monetarily afterwards, or did they simply refuse to give her anything at all.

Regarding the game so far, the board is... interesting. Also, Gareth's track record is hilarious. In 5 shows, he's had four of the power 5 (including two 250ks) and the penny!

If Brenda deals, she'll open 1 cat at the end of the game and if she finds the 1 smiling cat, the money will be doubled.

EV of £8,700 is a no-deal for me with the good back-up block.

EV of £10,800 is a tougher decision with 2 cats now but still no-deal.
